Recombinant Anti-LTF Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (M-860 var.)

The anti-LTF eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human and mouse LTF. LTF, part of the transferrin family, exhibits antimicrobial and iron-binding properties. The antibody has a novel LTF-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble LTF from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
