The anti-LY6E pH-dependent antibody (VS-0825-YC243) is a pH-responsive antibody engineered to target human LY6E. This pH-switched monoclonal antibody (mAb) was developed by incorporating histidine residues into its variable regions, which results in pH-biased binding to LY6E. By leveraging the natural pH variations in different tissues and cellular compartments, this pH-responsive antibody facilitates precise targeting of LY6E on cells and tissues. Human LY6E (Lymphocyte Antigen 6 Family Member E) is a GPI-anchored cell surface protein that functions in cell signaling. It is a marker for stem cells and is often overexpressed in various cancers, where it is associated with a poor prognosis.
