This antibody is a recombinant rabbit antibody targeting the MUC2 (Mucin 2, oligomeric mucus/gel-forming). MUC2 coats the epithelia of the intestines and other mucus membrane-containing organs to provide a protective, lubricating barrier against particles and infectious agents at mucosal surfaces. This antibody specifically targets human and rat MUC2. It has been reported for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin, Immunoprecipitation, Flow cytometry, Immunocytochemistry or Immunofluorescence.
