This biparatopic antibody (bpAb) is designed to bind two distinct PLA2 epitopes. Its tandem scFv architecture involves the N-terminal fusion of the mAb2.23 scFv to the mAb2.25 scFv. Notably, Anti-PLA2 mAb 2.23 targets the linear epitope GPAENK (amino acids 119-124), while mAb 2.25 recognizes the minimal epitope PQFL (amino acids 153-156).
