The AbPlus Anti-Prph Magnetic Beads (VS-0724-YC326) is an innovative affinity resin which is bound with anti-Prph specific antibody. The beads were designed for small-scale affinity purification and immunoprecipitation (IP) of Prph protein under native and denaturing conditions.

- The beads are in suspension and will settle upon storage. Prior to use, mix the vial gently (do not vortex) to ensure delivery of proper bead volume.

- Predicted to enable structural molecule activity. Acts upstream of or within intermediate filament cytoskeleton organization. Located in C-fiber; intermediate filament; and photoreceptor outer segment membrane. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; nervous system; and olfactory system. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis type 1. Orthologous to human PRPH (peripherin).
