The anti-PTHLH eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human PTHLH. PTHLH, part of the parathyroid hormone family, influences bone development and is linked to hypercalcemia of malignancy. The antibody has a novel PTHLH-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble PTHLH from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
