RTP-801i is an siRNA drug candidate designed to inhibit the expression of the hypoxia-inducible gene RTP801, with its primary indication being the treatment of neovascular (wet) age-related macular degeneration (AMD or ARMD). The DrugMonitor™ Anti-RTP-801i Antibody (VS-1224-YC1044) is an anti-drug antibody (ADA) against RTP-801i. This drug-based antibody is raised in mice immunized with the RTP-801i. The anti-RTP-801i antibody may be used in ELISA, pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics (PD) analyses, or serves as a reference standard in ADA assays. It also is an excellent tool for therapeutic drug monitoring, allowing to evaluate the drug efficacy and determine the drug concentration of the RTP-801i in samples.
