The recombinant rabbit antibody reacts with SSTR2 (Somatostatin receptor 2), which inhibits calcium entry by suppressing voltage-dependent calcium channels. SSTR2 also stimulates neuronal migration and axon outgrowth and may participate in neuron development and maturation during brain development. This antibody specifically reacts with human, mouse and rat SSTR2. It has been tested using Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin and Immunoprecipitation. The recommended dilutions of Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin and Immunoprecipitation is 1/500-1/1000, 1/50-1/100 and 1/20.
