The anti-TDGF1 pH-dependent antibody (VS-0825-YC321) is a pH-responsive antibody engineered to target human TDGF1. This pH-switched monoclonal antibody (mAb) was developed by incorporating histidine residues into its variable regions, which results in pH-biased binding to TDGF1. By leveraging the natural pH variations in different tissues and cellular compartments, this pH-responsive antibody facilitates precise targeting of TDGF1 on cells and tissues. Human TDGF1 (Teratocarcinoma-Derived Growth Factor 1), also known as Cripto-1, is a secreted signaling protein involved in embryonic development. It acts as a co-receptor for TGF-β and Nodal signaling and is frequently overexpressed in various cancers, promoting tumor growth and metastasis.
