Mouse Anti-TET2 Recombinant Antibody (VS3-FY2890)

CAT#: VS3-FY2890

This anti-TET2 antibody is a mouse recombinant monoclonal antibody that has been meticulously designed to target the human TET2 protein, a calculated molecular weight of the protein is about 223.8 kDa. The antibody can be utilized for detection of TET2 by Western Blot (1/500-1/2000), Immunohistochemistry (1/50-1/200) and Immunocytochemistry (1/50-1/200), Flow cytometry (1/50-1/200) and ELISA (1/1000-1/10000).

  • Related Disease
  • Dioxygenase that catalyzes the conversion of the modified genomic base 5-methylcytosine (5mC) into 5-hydroxymethylcytosine (5hmC) and plays a key role in active DNA demethylation.
Has a preference for 5-hydroxymethylcytosine in CpG motifs.
Also mediates subsequent conversion of 5hmC into 5-formylcytosine (5fC), and conversion of 5fC to 5-carboxylcytosine (5caC).
Conversion of 5mC into 5hmC, 5fC and 5caC probably constitutes the first step in cytosine demethylation.
