Recombinant Anti-TGM2 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (2/A2 var.)

The anti-TGM2 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human TGM2. TGM2 is an enzyme involved in crosslinking proteins and implicated in apoptosis and celiac disease. The antibody has a novel TGM2-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble TGM2 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
