Anti-TNC Antibody-Cytokine Fusion Protein, scfv (R6N)-hIL12

The R6N is a mouse antibody that was specifically designed to target TNC-D. The biological factor IL-12 is known to significantly influence the functionality of natural killer cells and T lymphocytes. It has been established that IL-12 facilitates the amplification of the cytotoxic capabilities of NK cells and CD8⁺ cytotoxic T lymphocytes. This is a recombinant human IL12-R6N fusion protein with potent single-agent activity that inhibits tumor growth in treated mice. The fusion protein human IL12-R6N comprises the R6N antibody arranged in a homodimeric tandem scFv format fused to human IL12 at the N-terminus.

- Interleukin 12 (IL-12) is an interleukin that is naturally produced by dendritic cells, macrophages, neutrophils, helper T cells, and human B lymphoblastoid cells (NC-37) in response to antigenic stimulation. IL-12 belongs to the interleukin 12 family. The IL-12 family is unique in that it contains only heterodimeric cytokines, including IL-12, IL-23, IL-27, and IL-35. Although they share many common structural features and molecular partners, the functional effects they mediate are surprisingly diverse.

- This gene encodes an extracellular matrix protein with a spatially and temporally restricted tissue distribution. This protein is homohexameric with disulfide-linked subunits, and contains multiple EGF-like and fibronectin type-III domains. It is implicated in guidance of migrating neurons as well as axons during development, synaptic plasticity, and neuronal regeneration.
