SmartAb™ Recombinant Anti-TPBG pH-dependent Antibody (VS-0825-YC350)

The anti-TPBG pH-dependent antibody (VS-0825-YC350) is a pH-responsive antibody engineered to target human and Minipig TPBG. This pH-switched monoclonal antibody (mAb) was developed by incorporating histidine residues into its variable regions, which results in pH-biased binding to TPBG. By leveraging the natural pH variations in different tissues and cellular compartments, this pH-responsive antibody facilitates precise targeting of TPBG on cells and tissues. Human TPBG (Trophoblast Glycoprotein), also known as 5T4, is a transmembrane glycoprotein involved in embryonic development. It is aberrantly expressed on the surface of various cancer cells, making it a potential therapeutic target.
