CytoStream™ Rabbit Anti-TPPP Recombinant Antibody (VS13-YC1182) (CAT#: VS13-YC1182)
The CytoStream™ Rabbit Anti-TPPP Recombinant Antibody is specific for human, mouse and rat TPPP. TPPP encodes a tubulin polymerization promoter, involved in pathways like glial differentiation, with links to conditions like Lewy Body Dementia. The anti-TPPP antibody was developed and selected by our CytoStream™ platform and the mAb is recommended for use in flow cytometry staining (1/50-1/100).
We specialize in custom recombinant antibody production, offering seamless execution from provided sequences to high-quality antibody deliverables, ensuring optimal yield and purity.

- Function
- Acts as a microtubule nucleation factor in oligodendrocytes: specifically localizes to the postsynaptic Golgi apparatus region, also named Golgi outpost, and promotes microtubule nucleation, an important step for elongation of the myelin sheath.
Required for both uniform polarized growth of distal microtubules as well as directing the branching of proximal processes.
