Rabbit Anti-XRCC1 Recombinant Antibody (clone R05-7K6) (CAT#: VS3-XY3542)

It is a recombinant rabbit antibody specific for XRCC1 (X-ray repair cross complementing 1), which negatively regulates ADP-ribosyltransferase activity of PARP1 during base-excision repair. The antibody specifically targets human, mouse and rat XRCC1. This product has been tested using Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin, Immunocytochemistry or Immunofluorescence.

  • Function
  • Scaffold protein involved in DNA single-strand break repair by mediating the assembly of DNA break repair protein complexes (PubMed:11163244, 28002403).
Negatively regulates ADP-ribosyltransferase activity of PARP1 during base-excision repair in order to prevent excessive PARP1 activity (PubMed:34102106, 34811483, 28002403).
Recognizes and binds poly-ADP-ribose chains: specifically binds auto-poly-ADP-ribosylated PARP1, limiting its activity.
