- Anti-CD52 scFv-Fc is a recombinant antibody specifically targeting the CD52 protein, which is mainly expressed on certain immune cells and other cell types. This antibody binds to CD52-positive cells, marking them for immune-mediated cell killing. Its potential functions include the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia and other types of leukemia and lymphoma. Furthermore, it may play a role in transplant rejection and autoimmune diseases. The Fc region of anti-CD52 scFv-Fc can activate the complement system, mediating antibody-dependent cell cytotoxicity (ADCC), thereby enhancing the overall immune response. By achieving both antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity and complement-dependent cytotoxicity, anti-CD52 scFv-Fc has the potential to effectively eliminate CD52-positive cells.
