Human Anti-HAVCR2 scFv-Fc Chimera (VS-0325-FY3)

CAT#: VS-0325-FY3

The anti-HAVCR2 single-chain variable fragment (scFv) fused to the Fc region of an antibody is designed to specifically target the HAVCR2 molecule, also known as Tim-3 (T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain 3). HAVCR2 is a protein that plays a significant role in immune regulation and is involved in the exhaustion of T-cells in various chronic diseases, including cancer and viral infections.

  • O-glycosylated with core 1 or possibly core 8 glycans.
Phosphorylated on tyrosine residues; modestly increased after TCR/CD28 stimulation.
Can be phosphorylated in the cytoplasmatic domain by FYN (By similarity).
Phosphorylation at Tyr-265 is increased by stimulation with ligand LGALS9.
    Glycosylation at Thr145 and Asn172
    Modification sites at PhosphoSitePlus
    Glycosylation from GlyConnect HAVR2_HUMAN (712)
Glycosylation from GlyGen 4 sites, 6 O-linked glycans (3 sites)
  • Function
  • Inhibits T-helper type 1 lymphocyte (Th1)-mediated auto- and alloimmune responses and promotes immunological tolerance (PubMed:14556005).
In CD8+ cells attenuates TCR-induced signaling, specifically by blocking NF-kappaB and NFAT promoter activities resulting in the loss of IL-2 secretion.
The function may implicate its association with LCK proposed to impair phosphorylation of TCR subunits, and/or LGALS9-dependent recruitment of PTPRC to the immunological synapse (PubMed:24337741, 26492563).
