Human Anti-HIV-1 p24 (clone 183-H12-5C) scFv-Fc Chimera

The target of the anti-scFv-Fc is the HIV-1 p24 protein, which is a component of the HIV virus structure responsible for maintaining the integrity and structure of the viral particles. This study successfully constructed three expression plasmids encoding scFv 183-H12-5C and a modified scFv-Fc (a fusion protein of scFv and the human IgG1 Fc fragment). These recombinant antibodies were successfully expressed in HEK293 cells and their specific binding ability was verified through ELISA and Western blot. Additionally, the molecular weight of scFv is approximately 29 kDa, while the molecular weight of scFv-Fc is approximately 52 kDa.

- The main function of this antibody is to recognize and bind to the HIV-1 p24 protein, thereby inhibiting HIV replication. Studies have shown that Jurkat T cells transfected with pCDNA3.3-scFv 183-H12-5C can inhibit the replication of the NL4-3 virus, demonstrating a certain level of anti-HIV activity and its potential as an antibody.
