- The antibody-single chain variable fragment Fc (scFv-Fc) achieves targeted specificity through its scFv component, which can recognize and bind to specific antigens. By incorporating the Fc region, the scFv-Fc's stability and half-life are enhanced, extending its circulation time in the body. The presence of the Fc region also imparts the ability to modulate immune responses, such as activating the complement system and promoting antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC). Therefore, scFv-Fc is widely applied in the biomedical field, particularly in targeted therapy, vaccine development, and diagnostic reagents.
