This is a recombinant single-chain variable fragments (scFv) fused to the Fc region of human IgG1. It was designed to target different SMAD proteins, key intracellular mediators of the TGF-β signaling pathway. The antibody is specifically validated for use in isPLA, enabling the study of SMAD complex formation and phosphorylation in a cellular context.
