Human Anti-TIMP1 (clone mab1) scFv-Fc Chimera (CAT#: VS-0325-FY147)
The Anti-TIMP-1 scFv-Fc antibody is a recombinant antibody targeting human Tissue Inhibitor of Metalloproteinase-1 (TIMP-1). It utilizes a format of a single-chain variable fragment (scFv) fused to the Fc region of human immunoglobulin G (IgG). This design confers unique advantages to the antibody: the scFv portion retains antigen-binding specificity, while the Fc portion enhances antibody stability and effector functions. This antibody specifically recognizes a particular form of TIMP-1, especially the forms associated with aberrant glycosylation in cancer progression.
