MAPK Pathway Antibody Panel (MAPK1, MAPK2, MAPK8, MAPK9, MAPK10, MAPK14)

CAT#: VS-0725-YC1

The MAPK Pathway Antibody Panel are sets of 6 antibodies designed for the simultaneous detection of critical MAPK pathway proteins, including Total MAPK Proteins: MAPK1 (ERK2), MAPK3 (ERK1), MAPK8 (JNK1), MAPK9 (JNK2), MAPK10 (JNK3), and MAPK14 (p38 alpha), alongside Phospho-Specific Targets: MAPK1 (pThr185 / pTyr187), MAPK3 (pThr202 / pTyr204), MAPK8 (pThr183 / pTyr185), MAPK9 (pThr183 / pTyr185), MAPK10 (pThr221 / pTyr223), and MAPK14 (pThr180 / pTyr182). This panel provides a powerful tool for researchers investigating cellular proliferation, differentiation, stress responses, and apoptosis.

  • Introduction
  • The Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase (MAPK) signaling pathway represents a fundamental and highly conserved system in eukaryotic cells, orchestrating a vast array of cellular processes from proliferation and differentiation to stress responses, apoptosis, and inflammation. Often described as a three-tiered kinase cascade, it involves sequential phosphorylation events: a MAPK kinase kinase (MAPKKK or MEKK) phosphorylates and activates a MAPK kinase (MAPKK or MKK), which then phosphorylates and activates a MAPK. This phosphorylation typically occurs on specific threonine and tyrosine residues within the MAPK's activation loop.
