Features of Quick ELISA Kits

Our quick ELISA kits are engineered to dismantle the operational bottlenecks of traditional assays. By restructuring the biochemical pathway, we offer several distinct improvements over legacy systems.

  • 90-Minute Turnaround: Complete a full quantitative assay in under 90 minutes, compared to the standard 4-hour protocols of traditional sandwich ELISAs.
  • Single-Wash Protocol: Legacy ELISAs require 3 to 4 independent wash steps. Our kits utilize only one wash step, reducing well-to-well shear forces and minimizing sample loss.
  • Ready-to-Use Reagents: Traditional kits require the manual dilution of concentrated capture and detection antibodies, introducing pipetting errors. Our reagents are color-coded and pre-diluted to working concentration.
  • Low Sample Volume: Requires only 50 µL of sample per well, preserving precious and limited specimens like mouse serum or pediatric cerebrospinal fluid (CSF).
  • Recombinant Monoclonal Consistency: By using recombinant monoclonal pairs rather than polyclonal mixtures, we achieve a lot-to-lot coefficient of variation (CV) of less than 6%.

Quick ELISA Principle

The core of quick ELISA technology lies in in-solution liquid kinetics. Traditional sandwich ELISAs rely on a slow solid-liquid interface, where target analytes must settle onto pre-coated microplate surfaces. Quick ELISA kits bypass this steric hindrance and maximize lab efficiency.

  • In-Solution Complexing: The sample containing the target analyte is added to the microplate simultaneously with a tag-conjugated capture antibody and an HRP-conjugated detection antibody.
  • Rapid Liquid-Phase Kinetics: The three molecules bind in solution. Because liquid-phase molecular collision rates are higher than solid-phase interfaces, the sandwich complex reaches thermodynamic equilibrium in under an hour.
  • High-Affinity Capture: The fully assembled antibody-antigen-antibody sandwich complex contains a specific affinity tag. This tag binds with near-covalent affinity to an anti-tag antibody pre-coated on the microplate wall.
  • Colorimetric Quantitation: After a single wash to remove unbound materials, TMB substrate is added. The HRP enzyme catalyzes a colorimetric reaction, which is read at 450 nm.
