Recombinant Rabbit Anti-Mouse CDH1 Detection Antibody (clone R62-3H-7) (CAT#: VS3-WK1827)

This antibody is a rabbit recombinant antibody against mouse CDH1. It was developed by immunization of rabbit with recombinant mouse CDH1 protein and then was produced as a recombinant antibody. The isotype of this product is rabbit IgG. R59-2N-9 and R62-3H-7 were identified as antibody pair for sandwich ELISA. As a detection antibody, the clone R62-3H-7 can be used in ELISA analysis to identify mouse CDH1.

  • Post Translation Modifications
  • During apoptosis or with calcium influx, cleaved by a membrane-bound metalloproteinase (ADAM10), PS1/gamma-secretase and caspase-3 (By similarity).
Processing by the metalloproteinase, induced by calcium influx, causes disruption of cell-cell adhesion and the subsequent release of beta-catenin into the cytoplasm (By similarity).
  • Function
  • Cadherins are calcium-dependent cell adhesion proteins. They preferentially interact with themselves in a homophilic manner in connecting cells; cadherins may thus contribute to the sorting of heterogeneous cell types. CDH1 is involved in mechanisms regulating cell-cell adhesions, mobility and proliferation of epithelial cells.
