Recombinant Anti-EDAR Vesicular Antibody, EV Displayed (VS-0425-YC490)

CAT#: VS-0425-YC490

The Recombinant Anti-EDAR Vesicular Antibody, EV Displayed (VS-0425-YC490) is an antibody-displaying extracellular vesicle (Ab-EV). The product combines the benefits of both extracellular vesicle (EV) and antibody (Ab) which can guide the decorated EVs to EDAR-expressed cells or tissues. EDAR is a member of the TNF receptor family that engages with ectodysplasin A, activating key signaling pathways essential for ectodermal development. Mutations in EDAR are linked to hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia.

  • Introduction
  • This gene encodes a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor family. The encoded transmembrane protein is a receptor for the soluble ligand ectodysplasin A, and can activate the nuclear factor-kappaB, JNK, and caspase-independent cell death pathways. It is required for the development of hair, teeth, and other ectodermal derivatives. Mutations in this gene result in autosomal dominant and recessive forms of hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia.
