The Recombinant Anti-EMP2 Vesicular Antibody, EV Displayed (VS-0425-YC177) is an antibody-displaying extracellular vesicle (Ab-EV). The product combines the benefits of both extracellular vesicle (EV) and antibody (Ab) which can guide the decorated EVs to EMP2-expressed cells or tissues. The EMP2 protein enables integrin binding activity and is involved in various processes, including endosome transport and protein localization, expressed in structures like the alimentary system and respiratory system.

Colocalizes with cytoplasmic vesicle; membrane raft; and plasma membrane. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; endometrium; medulla oblongata lateral wall; respiratory system; and sensory organ. Used to study placental insufficiency. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in nephrotic syndrome type 10. Orthologous to human EMP2 (epithelial membrane protein 2).
