The Recombinant Anti-FCGR2B Vesicular Antibody, EV Displayed (VS-0425-YC343) is an antibody-displaying extracellular vesicle (Ab-EV). The product combines the benefits of both extracellular vesicle (EV) and antibody (Ab) which can guide the decorated EVs to FCGR2B-expressed cells or tissues. The FCGR2B is a receptor as part of the Fc receptor family, involved in phagocytosis and regulating antibody production, linked to lupus risk.

- Introduction
- The protein encoded by this gene is a low affinity receptor for the Fc region of immunoglobulin gamma complexes. The encoded protein is involved in the phagocytosis of immune complexes and in the regulation of antibody production by B-cells. Variations in this gene may increase susceptibilty to systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
