Recombinant Rabbit Anti-IL16 Detection Antibody (clone R08-8E1)

This antibody is a rabbit recombinant antibody against human IL16. It was developed by immunization of rabbit with recombinant human IL16 protein and then was produced as a recombinant antibody. The isotype of this product is rabbit IgG. R04-6D1 and R08-8E1 were identified as antibody pair for sandwich ELISA. As a detection antibody, the clone R08-8E1 can be used in ELISA analysis to identify human IL16.

- Interleukin-16 stimulates a migratory response in CD4+ lymphocytes, monocytes, and eosinophils. Primes CD4+ T-cells for IL-2 and IL-15 responsiveness. Also induces T-lymphocyte expression of interleukin 2 receptor. Ligand for CD4.
