Recombinant Rabbit Anti-MMP1 Capture Antibody (clone R87-8B-9) (CAT#: VS3-WK1848)
This antibody is a rabbit recombinant antibody against human MMP1. It was developed by immunization of rabbit with recombinant human MMP1 protein and then was produced as a recombinant antibody. The isotype of this product is rabbit IgG. The sandwich ELISA was established using matched antibody pair R87-8B-9 and R71-4W-3. The clone R87-8B-9 can be used as a capture antibody in ELISA analysis to identify human MMP1.

- Undergoes autolytic cleavage to two major forms (22 kDa and 27 kDa). A minor form (25 kDa) is the glycosylated form of the 22 kDa form. The 27 kDa form has no activity while the 22/25 kDa form can act as activator for collagenase.

- Cleaves collagens of types I, II, and III at one site in the helical domain. Also cleaves collagens of types VII and X.
