Useful for IHC
I've been utilizing the Recombinant Mouse Anti-MUC13 Antibody (clone 8B2A7) in our lab for more than six months, particularly for immunohistochemistry on colorectal cancer tissues. The results have been consistently good, with strong and specific staining. This antibody is clearly of excellent quality and reliable, making it an invaluable tool in our research.
Excellent specificity
I used the antibody for Western blotting and discovered it to be quite successful at detecting MUC13 with little background noise. The band intensity was strong, and the antibody demonstrated good specificity.
Functioning effectively in ELISA
The recombinant mouse anti-MUC13 antibody (clone 8B2A7) performed well in ELISA, producing clear and repeatable findings. However, I had some issues with its performance in flow cytometry because the signal was smaller than planned. Optimization was required. Regardless, the antibody often performs well in other applications.
