The VS-0923-FY220 is a Rat IgG antibody that binds to PDPN. Podoplanin (PDPN) is a transmembrane receptor glycoprotein that is upregulated on transformed cells, cancer-associated fibroblasts, and inflammatory macrophages, which contribute to cancer progression.

Sharp IHC Staining
We used this rat IgG antibody to stain for Podoplanin in lung tissue sections. The immunohistochemistry results were sharp, clearly highlighting the lymphatic endothelium and type-I cells. It is a robust marker for our lung injury studies.
Effective In Western Blot
The VS-0923-FY220 antibody performed well in Western Blot analysis, detecting the transmembrane glycoprotein in our cell lysates. We also successfully used it for immunofluorescence. The sodium azide preservative is standard and did not interfere with our protocols.
