Recombinant Rabbit Anti-Mouse UCHL1 Detection Antibody (clone R51-9Q-1) (CAT#: VS3-WK1911)

This antibody is a rabbit recombinant antibody against mouse UCHL1. It was developed by immunization of rabbit with recombinant mouse UCHL1 protein and then was produced as a recombinant antibody. The isotype of this product is rabbit IgG. R25-8Q-9 and R51-9Q-1 were identified as antibody pair for sandwich ELISA. As a detection antibody, the clone R51-9Q-1 can be used in ELISA analysis to identify mouse UCHL1.

Target

  • Alternative Names
  • gad; PGP9.5; UCH-L1; UCHL-1; PGP 9.5
  • Long Name
  • Ubiquitin carboxy-terminal hydrolase L1
  • Sequence Similarities
  • Belongs to the peptidase C12 family.
  • Cellular Localization
  • Cytoplasm, Endoplasmic reticulum, Membrane
  • Post Translation Modifications
  • O-glycosylated.
  • Function
  • Ubiquitin-protein hydrolase involved both in the processing of ubiquitin precursors and of ubiquitinated proteins. This enzyme is a thiol protease that recognizes and hydrolyzes a peptide bond at the C-terminal glycine of ubiquitin. Also binds to free monoubiquitin and may prevent its degradation in lysosomes. The homodimer may have ATP-independent ubiquitin ligase activity.
