Senescence Marker Antibody Panel (CDKN1A, CDKN2A, RB1, TP53)
CAT#: VS-0725-YC38
The Senescence Marker Antibody Panel are sets of 7 antibodies, enabling the simultaneous detection of key proteins associated with cellular senescence. Our extensive set includes antibodies against CDKN1A, CDKN2A, phosphorylated RB1 (pThr 252), phosphorylated RB1 (pSer 807), phosphorylated RB1 (pSer 811), and TP53. This panel offers a powerful and streamlined tool for understanding age-related pathologies and tumor suppression, consistently delivering robust and reproducible data.

- Introduction
- Cellular senescence is a stable state of irreversible cell cycle arrest that healthy cells enter in response to various stressors, including replicative exhaustion (telomere shortening), oncogene activation, DNA damage, and oxidative stress. Unlike quiescence, from which cells can re-enter the cell cycle, senescent cells remain metabolically active and often undergo profound phenotypic changes, collectively known as the Senescence-Associated Secretory Phenotype (SASP). While senescence serves as a potent tumor suppressive mechanism by preventing the proliferation of potentially damaged cells, the accumulation of senescent cells in tissues contributes significantly to aging and various age-related diseases.
