CD274 is a gene also known as PD-L1 (Programmed Death-Ligand 1). It is an immune checkpoint protein that is involved in regulating the function of the immune system. CD274/PD-L1 inhibits the activation of T cells by binding to its receptor PD-1, thereby preventing excessive immune responses.
