Cmklr1

Chemokine receptor-like 1(CMKLR1) is a newly discovered important chemokine receptor-like 1, a member of the G protein coupled receptor (GPCR) family. CMKLR1 is highly expressed in macrophages, immature dendritic cells and white adipose tissue and is the main receptor for Chemerin to play biological functions. Chemerin can be chemochemic with high expression of CMKLR1 dendritic cells and macrophages, which plays a role in immune response, inflammatory response, adipocyte differentiation and maturation, lipid metabolism and other aspects, and is associated with obesity and metabolic syndrome. More and more studies have shown that the signal abnormality of Chemerin and its receptor is closely related to the occurrence and development of cancer. After Chemerin binds to the CMKLR1 receptor of the endothelial cell membrane, it can also induce the proliferation of endothelial cells and the formation of neovascularization, which is used for promoting the growth and proliferation of tumor cells. The role of preocular CMKLR1 in endometrial carcinoma is unclear.
