Background
The cell which overexpresses a STOP-1 polypeptide is a cancer cell, e.g., a breast, ovarian, stomach, endometrial, salivary gland, lung, kidney, colon, thyroid, pancreatic or bladder cell, as compared to a normal cell of the same tissue type.
