TSBP

Human testicular sperm binding protein (TSBP) open reading frame encoding 568 amino acid residues, contains four fibronectin Ⅱ structure domain, the structure is similar with bovine seminal plasma proteins(BSP). Relevant studies have shown that TSBP gene is located on human 19q1.3. TBSP possesses Ⅱ type structure, making it can be combined with phospholipids on the surface of the sperm, which will promote heparin and HDL to induce sperm capacitation. Meanwhile, TBSP combined with sperm can also protect film functions and effectively improve the fertilization ability of sperm, but the specific mechanism needs to be studied further.
