MYH14

MYH14 encodes 1995 amino acids, whose relative molecular mass is 228KD, including a conserved structural domain: an n-terminal myosin domain, a myosin head domain, two IQ domains, and a c-terminal myosin tail domain. There are obvious similarities between the highly conserved myosin head domain and its members of the same family, MYH9, MYH10 and MYH11. The expression of MYH14 in skeletal muscle is the highest in several human tissues detected by Northblot.
