CBD anti-AMY2 (SCB-L049)

The CBD that bound porcine alpha-amylase (PPA) was isolated from the library using Phage display techonology. The primary CBD is a member of the knottin family which is a kind of small, disulphide-bonded proteins that bind with high specificity to their target molecules. After affinity maturation, CBD variants were identified having affinities for porcine alpha-amylase (PPA) as determined by biosensor technology. It's potential to be used in diagnostic, research and therapeutic applications.
