H-2Kb/Gallus gallus OVA (SIINFEKL) MHC Monomer (CAT#: MHC-YF199)

This product is a MHC monomer of biotinylated peptide/MHC complex composed OVA-derived peptide of SIINFEKL sequence covering 257-264 and H-2Kb molecule. The pMHC monomer recognizes human CD8 T cells and can be used in the MHC tetramer analysis of individual antigen-specific T cells.

Target

  • Antigen Introduction
  • Ovalbumin (abbreviated OVA) is the main protein found in egg white, making up approximately 55% of the total protein. Ovalbumin displays sequence and three-dimensional homology to the serpin superfamily, but unlike most serpins it is not a serine protease inhibitor. The function of ovalbumin is unknown, although it is presumed to be a storage protein.
  • Alternative Names
  • OVA; Ovalbumin
