HPV genome functionally divided into three areas: non-coding region, replication regulatory region of gene transcription; early region containing six open reading frames (El, E2, E4, E5, E6, E7), encoding protein involved in viral replication and transcription; late region containing two L1 and L2 open reading frames, two encoding viral capsid proteins, composed of a housing virus. HPV16 E6 and E7 oncogene is a major, in cervical cancer cell lines SiHa, when HPV16E6 / E7 expression silencing, Gan SiHa cells proliferation and the ability to shift will be significantly suppressed.
