The mouse Fab fragment antibody exhibits specific targeting for E-cadherin 17. The Fab targets the extracellular region of CDH17. This antibody could be used to target other cancers in which CDH17 is overexpressed. Internalization of the antibody into human gastric cancer cells indicates that the antibody is a candidate antibody drug.
