Soluble scFv clones were produced in the bacterial periplasm after IPTG induction. Different concentrations of scFvs were assayed by ELISA for its crotoxin reactivity (■) scFv 1; (▲) scFv 6;(●) scFv 8.

Inhibition assays were performed to measure the ability of different scFvs to compete with mouse anti-CB MoAbs for binding to crotoxin.
