Currently, there are very few clinically approved vaccines or therapeutics against HeV or NiV. The Fab fragment of this antibody specifically binds to the fusion glycoprotein of Hev and NiV with a KD value of 62 nM TCID value is 100 μg/ml. The development of neutralizing anti-F antibodies and antibody fragments could serve as a potential henipavirus infection therapeutic agent.
