Provided are novel antibodies that specifically bind to an ORP150 polypeptide expressed of the cell surface of plasmacytoma, multiple myeloma, colorectal cancer cells, gastric cancer cells, or esophageal cancer cells. These antibodies can be used in a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic methods.

Mice were implanted subcutaneously with L363 cells and treated intraperitoneally with humanized 5F4Ac.2/v17 or a control human IgG at 20 mg/kg three times weekly. Tumor volume was determined at day 5, 7, 9, 14, 16, 19, 21 and 24 after tumor implantation.
