Recombinant Rabbit Anti-S100A9 Capture Antibody (clone R19-5C-9) (CAT#: VS3-WK1926)

This antibody is a rabbit recombinant antibody against human S100A9. It was developed by immunization of rabbit with recombinant human S100A9 protein and then was produced as a recombinant antibody. The isotype of this product is rabbit IgG. The sandwich ELISA was established using matched antibody pair R19-5C-9 and R31-4D-5. The clone R19-5C-9 can be used as a capture antibody in ELISA analysis to identify human S100A9.

  • Phosphorylated. Phosphorylation inhibits activation of tubulin polymerization.
S-nitrosylation of Cys-3 is implicated in LDL(ox)-induced S-nitrosylation of GAPDH at 'Cys-247' through a transnitrosylase mechanism involving a iNOS-S100A8/9 complex.
Methylation at His-105 by METTL9 reduces zinc-binding without affecting heterodimerization with S100A8.
  • Function
  • S100A9 is a calcium- and zinc-binding protein which plays a prominent role in the regulation of inflammatory processes and immune response.
