Recombinant Rabbit Anti-THBD Detection Antibody (clone R08-5H0) (CAT#: VS3-WK1699)

This antibody is a rabbit recombinant antibody against human THBD. It was developed by immunization of rabbit with recombinant human THBD protein and then was produced as a recombinant antibody. The isotype of this product is rabbit IgG. R01-4F4 and R08-5H0 were identified as antibody pair for sandwich ELISA. As a detection antibody, the clone R08-5H0 can be used in ELISA analysis to identify human THBD.

Target

  • Alternative Names
  • Thrombomodulin; CD141 Antigen; Fetomodulin; THRM; TM; THPH12; AHUS6; BDCA3; CD141

  • Cellular Localization
  • Membrane
  • Post Translation Modifications
  • N-glycosylated.
The iron and 2-oxoglutarate dependent 3-hydroxylation of aspartate and asparagine is (R) stereospecific within EGF domains.
  • Function
  • Thrombomodulin is a specific endothelial cell receptor that forms a 1:1 stoichiometric complex with thrombin. This complex is responsible for the conversion of protein C to the activated protein C (protein Ca). Once evolved, protein Ca scissions the activated cofactors of the coagulation mechanism, factor Va and factor VIIIa, and thereby reduces the amount of thrombin generated.
