Human Anti-CHIKV E2 Recombinant Antibody (clone ch-CHK-152 N297Q) (CAT#: HPAB-S0185-YC)

A chimeric mouse-human ch-CHK-152 N297Q, an aglycosyl variant, was derived from murine antibody CHK-152, which lacks the ability to engage C1q or Fc-γ receptors; this mutation does not affect the ability to bind the neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn) or half-life of antibody in mouse serum. The affinity of ch-CHK-152 N297Q binding to purified pE2-E1 was measured by surface plasmon resonance (SPR) and compared to the parent murine MAb. Notably, ch-CHK-152 N297Q and the murine CHK-152 all had similar affinity (KD of 3 to 4 nM) and neutralizing activity in cell culture (Fig. 4B). As expected, ch-CHK-152 N297Q failed to bind efficiently to soluble Fc-γ receptors or C1q.
