The symbols correspond to h-HFE7A α- (open diamonds), β- (open boxes), γ- (open circles), δ- (open triangles), and ζ- (closed triangles). Chimeric HFE7A (closed boxes) was used as the positive control. Human IgG1 (closed circles) was used as the negative control. Similar results were obtained with three independent experiments.

(A) Activated cynomologus monkey lymphocytes were incubated with sFasL and anti-FLAG (left panel), and incubated with R-125224 or R-125224 cross-linked with anti-hIgG (right panel). In the right panel, the cells were incubated with R-125224 (filled squre) or R-125224 cross-linked with anti-hIgG (filled circle). The viability of each cell was determined by the XTT method. Data are expressed as the mean and SD of triplicate determinations. The statistical analysis was performed by the Student's t-test.
