H-2Dd/Murine Cytomegalovirus M164 (AGPPRYSRI) MHC Pentamer (CAT#: MHC-YC114)
MHC multimers have a high avidity for CD8 T cells, and can be used in the analysis of individual antigen-specific T cells. This product is a Pentamer of peptide/MHC complex with MCMV-derived peptide of AGPPRYSRI sequence covering 257-265 and H-2Dd molecule. The peptide/MHC pentamer provided here is unlabeled or fluorescent labeled such as Biotin, R-PE, APC. And all of them are available in 50, 150 or 500 tests.

- Specifically, the m152 gene product gp37/40 causes retention of MHC-I molecules in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER)-Golgi intermediate compartment. Lack of MHC-I on the cell surface should activate natural killer (NK) cells recognizing the "missing self." The retention, however, is counteracted by the m04early gene product gp34, which binds to folded MHC-I molecules in the ER and directs the complex to the cell surface. It was thus speculated that gp34 might serve to silence NK cells and thereby complete the immune evasion of MCMV. 164, with very minor contributions made by CD8 T cells specific for previously identified peptides from ORFs m04.
